Rosemary Chicken

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken legs (300 g each)
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp rosemary, dried
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • 800 g potatoes
  • 4 sprigs rosemary, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Rub the chicken thighs well with salt, pepper, and dried rosemary. Brown them all over in hot lard. Peel, wash, and quarter the potatoes. Place them on a greased baking sheet, season with salt and pepper. Place the chicken thighs on top. Roast in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes. Tear the rosemary sprigs into smaller pieces and add them to the chicken after 20 minutes of roasting. Serve with vegetables or salad.
