Rosemary mashed potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, floury, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 2 ½ dl milk
  • 1 tbsp rosemary, very finely chopped
  • a little nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

a delicious alternative

Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 20 minutes until soft. Drain the water and either mash the potatoes or press them through a ricer. Heat the milk and gradually add it to the mashed potatoes, stirring until it reaches the desired consistency. Stir in the rosemary and season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Pairs well with roasts.
