Rosettes Pastries

The perfect rosettes pastries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 ml Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Salt
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 150 g Flour
  • 25 g Food starch
  • Fat for deep-frying
  • Rosette iron
  1. Beat the milk, eggs, salt and sugar. Mix the flour and starch and slowly add to the milk mixture. Let stand for 1 hour and off you go.
  2. Heat the fat in a saucepan or deep fryer.
  3. You screw the handle into an iron and dip the rosette briefly in the hot fat to heat it up before dipping it into the batter. The dough must not go over the edge of the iron. Then you dip the rosette with the adhering dough back into the hot fat and leave the dough in it until the desired browning.
