Rudi’s Meatloaf!

The perfect rudi’s meatloaf! recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 600 g Mixed minced meat
  • 2 Diced old rolls
  • 1 Chopped onion
  • 1 bunch Chopped parsley until smooth
  • Salt, pepper from the mill
  • 1 Egg
  • 0,25 l Lukewarm milk
  • Wake-Up flour depending on your needs
  • Dice root vegetables for the sauce.
  1. Soak the bread roll in lukewarm milk until the milk is completely absorbed. Put the minced meat in a bowl, season heartily with salt and pepper, add the chopped parsley, the chopped onion, the egg and the bread roll.
  2. Mix everything well, season well again. Now knead with your hands and add the baking flour until the dough has the right consistency to form one or two loaves.
  3. Fry the meatloaf loaves in a pan in hot oil on all sides, remove the chopped root vegetables in the frying fat and let them take color, deglaze with approx. 1 l of water or stock. Let the whole simmer gently for at least 2 hours. n
  4. Goes well with a good potato salad and pasta.
