Chocolate apple cake – simple, without almonds or nuts
Cream the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla sugar in a bowl until creamy and the sugar is completely dissolved. Stir in the rum flavoring. Place the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and cocoa powder or Kaba) in a bowl and mix in. Gradually stir these ingredients into the egg mixture using a hand whisk until a fairly firm batter forms. Add the chopped apples with a spoon and mix in (this is quite difficult). Pour the batter into a greased round springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour. Once cooled, melt the chocolate coating and pour it over the cake. Then let the chocolate coating cool and set.
