Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 cups flour
- 6 tbsp sugar or honey
- 3 tsp cocoa
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 100 g butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp spice mix of coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Whisk together the sugar or honey, butter, spices, and cocoa powder until well combined. Then, whisk in the egg yolks, one at a time. Carefully fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Sift the flour and baking powder together, then add to the mixture. The dough should be non-sticky and not stiff. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick and cut out shapes as desired. Bake at 220°C (top/bottom heat) for 10-15 minutes.
