Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 235 ml milk
  • 120 ml water
  • 55 g butter
  • 560 g flour
  • ½ pack of dry yeast
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 handfuls of flour
  • 400 g chocolate
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Makes approx. 12 rolls.

Heat the milk, water, and butter to approximately 40°C and mix. Chop the chocolate. Place 560g of flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and chocolate in a large bowl. Add the milk mixture and mix with a mixer fitted with a dough hook for 1 minute. Add the egg and mix for 1 minute. Add the remaining flour. Add enough flour until the dough no longer sticks to your hands. Form 12 round balls, each weighing 135g, and place them on a greased baking sheet. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes, ideally on the radiator. Bake in the oven at 185°C for approximately 10 minutes. Makes approximately 12 rolls.
