12 sweet pretzels made from light yeast dough

For the dough, put flour in a bowl. Make a well in the center. Crumble in the yeast and mix with the sugar, a little flour from the edge, and the milk to make a pre-dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes. Add the yogurt, salt, and butter and knead into a smooth yeast dough. Knead the dough until it pulls away from the sides of the bowl and bubbles. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. With floured hands, form the dough into rolls and fold them into pretzels. You should have 12 pretzels. Place the pretzels on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Heat the butter and milk together, mix until smooth, and brush the pretzels with it. Sprinkle with sugar or sugar powder, if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 15-20 minutes until light brown.
