Salad with blue cheese dressing

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g blue cheese, e.g. B. Gorgonzola
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 1 dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 shot of white wine vinegar
  • some milk
  • some salt and pepper, black, from the mill
  • 1 lettuce(s)
  • 12 cocktail tomatoes
  • e.g. balsamic vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the blue cheese into the smallest possible pieces and place them in a bowl. Then add the sour cream, olive oil, mayonnaise, and a splash of milk. Mix everything with a fork, mashing the cheese until you have a fairly homogeneous mixture. The cheese will not be completely dissolved, but that’s intended. Now season to taste with lemon juice, white wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir in enough milk until the consistency is slightly thick but runny. Cut the lettuce into four equal pieces and remove the stalks from each one. Arrange the quartered lettuce on plates and drizzle with the dressing. Halve the cherry tomatoes and divide them between the plates. Finally, drizzle a small splash of balsamic vinegar over the tomatoes. Serve with baguette or grilled turkey strips.
