Salalte: Pasta Salad with Herring

the dressing

  • 4 piece Herring fillets, lightly smoked
  • 2 piece Fresh shallots
  • 4 piece Fresh radishes
  • 1 piece Apple, slightly sour
  • 1 a cup Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar, white
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Peel the apples and shallots. Cut the apple and radish into small pieces, and cut the shallots into fine rings. Halve the matjes fillets lengthways and dice.
  2. Make a dressing out of yogurt, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper and stir in the salad.
  3. If necessary, chop the pasta and mix with the other ingredients.
  4. Let it steep for about an hour before serving.
