Salmon on leaf spinach

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 600 g salmon fillet(s)
  • 400 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • 500 g water
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth
  • 50 g white wine
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • 1 tsp blossom honey
  • salt and pepper
  • lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 27 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 12 minutes

Preparation in the TM 5

Pour 500g of water with 2 teaspoons of vegetable stock into the Varoma and put the lid on. Add 400g of leaf spinach to the Varoma. Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Place baking paper on the bottom of the Varoma tray and place the salmon on top. Place the tray in the Varoma and close the lid. Steam the salmon for 20-25 minutes (depending on the thickness of the salmon pieces) on Varoma/speed 1. Then keep the salmon and spinach warm. Empty the mixing bowl. Reserve 50g of the cooking liquid. Add the 50g cooking liquid, 200g herb cream cheese, 50g white wine, and 1 teaspoon of honey to the mixing bowl and cook for 5 minutes/90°C/speed 2. Arrange the salmon on top of the spinach and pour the sauce over it. Rice or boiled potatoes are suitable side dishes.
