Salmon – Pepper – Pizza

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 portion of dough (yeast dough for one baking tray)
  • 3 bell pepper(s), red
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 400 g cream cheese with herbs
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 onions
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly herbs, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Let the yeast dough rise as usual. Clean the peppers and onions and dice them into small pieces. Sauté the onions in a pan until translucent, add the diced peppers and sauté until al dente. Season with salt and pepper. Mix the cream cheese with the tomato paste, adding more seasoning if desired. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Roll out the yeast dough on a greased baking sheet and spread the cream cheese mixture on it. Add the finely chopped salmon and the pepper-onion mixture. Sprinkle with fresh herbs, if desired, and bake in the oven on the middle rack for about 30 minutes.
