Salmon sandwich with Camembert and figs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slices of toast (regular or wholemeal)
  • 40 g butter or margarine
  • 200 g smoked salmon or gravlax
  • 40 g mustard (fig mustard)
  • 100 g Camembert(s), preferably goat Camembert or goat Brie
  • 2 figs, fresh
  • 4 sprig(s) of dill (if using gravlax, the dill can be omitted)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Spread a thin layer of butter on the toast. Place salmon slices (50g per serving) on ​​top, leaving some space between the edges. Then spread a thin layer of fig mustard. Place 1-2 slices of Camembert on top. Top with 1-2 slices of fig and some dill. If using gravlax, the dill can be omitted. Cover with the second slice of toast and press down lightly. Place on the preheated grill and let it toast.
