Salmon-Tuna Burger

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g salmon fillet(s)
  • 250 g tuna
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • oil
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 slice(s) of tomato(s)
  • 4 tsp sauce (cocktail sauce)
  • 4 rolls (hamburger buns)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Rinse the fish fillet in cold water, pat dry, and finely dice. Finely dice the shallots. Press the garlic through a press. Knead the fish, shallots, garlic, eggs, parsley, and breadcrumbs thoroughly in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Form 4 burgers. Heat the oil and fry on both sides. Wash the lettuce leaves, pat dry, and arrange them on the halved buns. Place the burgers on top, top with a tomato slice, and spread 1 teaspoon of cocktail sauce on top. If desired, you can also top the fish slices with a slice of cheese and/or a crispy slice of bacon.
