Salmon with honey and mustard marinade from the oven

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 salmon fillets, defrost frozen goods beforehand
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp mustard, not too coarse-grained
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Fast, low-fat and delicious

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Briefly rinse the salmon fillets and pat them dry. Fold a small tray out of a piece of aluminum foil (double it and fold up the edges). Place the salmon fillets on top and season lightly with pepper. Mix the mustard and honey until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the fillets. Wrap the aluminum tray with another, larger piece of aluminum foil to create the tightest possible seal (place the tray in the center of the foil, fold up the ends and fold in, and fold in the sides as well). Place the fish in the preheated oven and cook for 20 minutes. Wrapping the aluminum foil allows the fish to cook gently, eliminating the need for fat.
