Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg pork neck, boneless
  • Maggi Seasoning Mix No. 1, Type Pepper
  • 1 kg salt, coarse
  • possibly garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 10 minutes

Rub the marbled or lean meat with Maggi Seasoning Mix No. 1 (pepper) the day before. If desired, add garlic, then let it sit for about 24 hours. The next day, sprinkle a baking sheet with a thickness of 1 cm (0.39 in) of coarse salt and place the meat on it. Do not rub it with salt. Then, depending on the weight, cook in the oven at about 150°C (300°F) for 2 hours.
