Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 gr. can/n sauerkraut
- 350 g tagliatelle or penne
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 200 g Parmesan or other spicy cheese of your choice, grated
- 200 ml cream
- Butter for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Boil the pasta according to the package instructions. Peel the onion and dice it into small cubes. Peel and mince the garlic. Sauté both ingredients together in butter until translucent. Add the sauerkraut and sauté for about 15 minutes until soft. Season with salt and pepper. Layer the pasta in a buttered casserole dish as follows: sauerkraut – pasta – cheese – sauerkraut – pasta – cheese (for the final layer). Pour the cream over the pasta. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Serve immediately.
