Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g sauerkraut
- 3 balls of cooked beetroot
- 2 onions
- ½ bunch chives
- salt and pepper
- some nutmeg
- 3 tbsp oil
- some sugar
- possibly caraway
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Drain the sauerkraut and chop it finely. Coarsely grate the beetroot. Dice the onion. Finely chop the chives. Combine all ingredients and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, sugar, chives, and 2-3 tablespoons of oil. If you like, you can also add some caraway seeds.
