Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 large onions
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 small can of sauerkraut
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- 1 liter of water
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- 2 gherkins
- 2 cubes of broth, clear
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp mustard
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
Dice the onions and sauté in oil. Add the minced meat, crumble it, and fry. Add the sauerkraut, tomato paste, water, sambal oelek, broth, and diced cucumber and mix well. Cook for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Combine the mayonnaise, egg yolk, and mustard and add 1 tablespoon of each to the soup bowls before serving.
