Sausage goulash

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g meat sausage
  • 250 g bacon, streaky
  • 3 large onions
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp paprika powder, rose hot
  • some marjoram
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cube of stock, if necessary
  • some oil, not olive oil!
  • ½ liter of water
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

hearty winter meal

Dice the sausage, bacon, and onions and fry in a pan until golden brown. Briefly fry the paprika and deglaze with water. Add the tomato paste. Add the potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces, and the marjoram. If desired, add a stock cube. Let the mixture simmer uncovered, stirring frequently, until the potatoes are tender. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in a little butter to thicken the mixture. A green salad and a glass of beer go perfectly with this dish.
