Sausage in a dressing gown

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 pairs of sausages (Frankfurter)
  • 4 slices of mild cheese
  • 1 pc. puff pastry

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the puff pastry into 4 pieces. Roll the sausages in the cheese and wrap them in the puff pastry. Bake in the oven at 180°C until the puff pastry is golden brown. I recommend serving with homemade garlic mayonnaise (season 1 egg yolk with mustard, salt, and pepper and stir into the mayonnaise with oil. Add 2 or 3 cloves of garlic).
