Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 ml water
- 1 tbsp vegetable stock powder
- 2 apples
- 1 m.-large savoy cabbage
- 1 chicken
- n. B. Rub

Fill a casserole dish with water and drizzle with vegetable stock. Quarter the apples, then cut into thin wedges. Place these in the casserole dish. Halve the savoy cabbage and also cut into wedges, still holding the stalks together. Arrange the savoy cabbage fan-shaped in the casserole dish. Cut the chicken into four pieces and rub each piece with a dry rub. I make this myself using a variety of spices, as desired. Place the chicken pieces on top of the savoy cabbage. Cook the dish at 180°C fan-assisted oven for 1 hour on the second rack from the bottom. Tip: After 45 minutes, I add rösti wedges to another baking tray and put them in the oven. These go really well with this chicken.
