Savoy cabbage pasta casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 pack of savoy cabbage
  • 300 ml meat broth
  • Salt and pepper, black, coarsely ground
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 150 g Leberkäse, in one piece
  • 1 apple
  • 150 g tagliatelle pasta, short
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • 50 g fried onions

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and dice the onion, and sauté in hot oil until translucent. Add the savoy cabbage and stock, bring to a boil, season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds, and simmer covered over low heat. Dice the meatloaf. Peel, halve, core, and slice the apple. Place the pasta in a greased baking dish and scatter the savoy cabbage over it. Add the meatloaf and apple slices, and top with Gouda cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (160°C fan oven) on the middle rack for about 35 minutes. Remove and top with the fried onions.
