Homemade cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 50 ml whipped cream
  • 50 ml milk
  • 200 ml meat broth
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 75 ml water, cold
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

goes great with mashed potatoes, meatballs or schnitzel

Melt the butter, then add the tomato paste, cream, milk, and broth. Stir the flour and water together until smooth, then add the flour, season to taste, and bring to a boil. Simmer briefly until the sauce thickens.
