Savoy cabbage with chive cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ head of savoy cabbage
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 2 slice(s) bacon, streaky
  • salt and pepper
  • ¼ liter broth
  • ½ cup cream
  • 2 tbsp chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Trim and wash the savoy cabbage, removing the stalks. Then cut into strips. Dice the onion. Fry the bacon in a pan. Sauté the savoy cabbage and onions in the bacon fat. Season with salt and pepper. Add the broth and cream and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with chives.
