Savoy cabbage with smoked pork and cream cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 piece(s) savoy cabbage
  • 4 slices of smoked pork
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 4 pieces of potatoes
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 100 ml vegetable broth, strong
  • 1 onion(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil, or clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Trim the savoy cabbage and cut into strips about 0.5 cm wide, then wash. Cut the smoked pork and peeled potatoes into bite-sized cubes. Dice the onion. Heat the fat in a large pot and sauté the onion. Add the savoy cabbage and cook for a few minutes. Deglaze with wine and stock. Now add the potatoes and smoked pork. Stir in the cream cheese. Cover and simmer for about 20-30 minutes, until the potatoes and savoy cabbage are tender. Season with salt and pepper. Feel free to add fresh herbs.
