Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 kohlrabi
- 5 carrots
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 125 ml vegetable stock
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 200 g tartar (minced beef)
- 1 tsp margarine, semi-skimmed
- 1 tbsp flour
- 120 ml milk, low-fat
- 50 g cream cheese
- 50 g cheese, grated (light)
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- 1 tbsp herbs, chopped, mixed

Peel the kohlrabi and carrots and cut into sticks. Cook the vegetables in the broth and then drain. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Fry the diced onion with the tartar and season well. Place the vegetables and tartar in a casserole dish. For the sauce, slightly melt the margarine, then stir in the flour. Deglaze with the milk while stirring, and bring to a boil. Stir in the cream cheese and herbs, season well again. Pour the cheese sauce over the casserole and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 40 minutes.
