Scampi on a skewer

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 point scampi (frozen)
  • 1 lime(s)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Cayenne pepper
  • some sugar
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Thaw the scampi. Pour the oil into a small bowl, squeeze the limes, and add the juice. Mix briefly and season with salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, a little sugar, and oregano. Thread the scampi evenly onto 4 skewers and place them on a piece of aluminum foil. Brush with the oil and season to taste. Heat some of the lime-oil mixture in a pan and fry the skewers on all sides. I like to serve them with potatoes, which are then also drizzled with the oil. The skewers are also perfect as an appetizer or finger food.
