Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 60 g celery
  • 50 g spring onions
  • ½ bunch of dill
  • 40 g sour cream
  • 210 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper from the mill
  • 30 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 80 ml oil
  • 200 ml buttermilk

Dice the salmon. Trim, wash, and finely chop the celery. Finely chop the onions and dill. Place the sour cream in a small bowl and mix with the salmon, celery, onion, and dill. Place the flour in a bowl and mix with the baking powder, salt, pepper, and cheese. Lightly beat the egg in another bowl. Add the oil, buttermilk, and salmon mixture and mix well. Add the flour mixture and stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Pour the batter into the muffin tin and bake at 180°C (preheated) in the center for 20-25 minutes. This recipe makes 12 muffins.
