Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat (possibly Thuringian Mett)
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 1 tbsp thyme, fresh
- 1 tbsp rosemary, fresh
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 shot of carbonated mineral water
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated
- 1 tsp baking powder, as egg substitute
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- 2 tsp mustard, medium hot
- salt and pepper
- chili powder
- nutmeg
- Garlic
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Meatballs in the oven – no annoying fat splashes
Peel the onion and dice it into small pieces. Thoroughly combine the minced meat with all the other ingredients, season generously, and form into meatballs (makes about 10, depending on the size). Place on an oven rack lined with parchment paper. Bake at 170°C for about 30 minutes.
