Schnitzel strips on mixed salad

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 turkey, pork or chicken schnitzels
  • Clarified butter
  • salt and pepper
  • Flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Breadcrumbs for coating
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp creamed horseradish (from a tube)
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 125 ml water
  • 1 iceberg lettuce, green salad or leaf lettuce
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 5 tomatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

with a fine marinade

Season the schnitzel with salt and pepper and cut into strips, bread them, and fry in hot clarified butter. Wash and clean the vegetables and prepare a mixed salad. For the marinade, place everything in a screw-top jar and shake well. Pour the marinade over the mixed salad, top with a few onion rings and the schnitzel strips, and serve. The salad can be expanded to your liking, e.g., with corn, red beans, etc.
