Schnitzel with Fried Potatoes À La Heiko

The perfect schnitzel with fried potatoes à la heiko recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Turkey schnitzel
  • 750 g Jacket potatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 500 g Fresh broccoli
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 6 Eggs
  • Salt, pepper from the mill
  • Marjoram
  • Curry
  1. Wash the potatoes and boil them in salted water for 20 minutes. Pour off and peel off. Season the schnitzel with salt and pepper from the mill. Turn the schnitzel in flour, egg and breadcrumbs.
  2. Wash the broccoli and cook in salted water for 10-15 minutes. Fry the schnitzel in a pan with clarified butter.
  3. Cut the potatoes into slices. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Heat the clarified butter and fry the potatoes in it. Season with salt, pepper, marjoram and curry. Now add the onions and fry them until the potatoes turn brown. Beat 2 eggs in a cup, season with salt and pepper, stir and add to the potatoes. Let the egg freeze briefly.
  4. Now fry the remaining eggs in a pan to make fried eggs. Arrange the whole thing on a plate and place the fried egg on the schnitzel. Pickled cucumbers are actually added to the fried potatoes, but unfortunately didn’t have any more: – (((
