Ingredients

  • 2 175 g schnitzel
  • Coarse salt from the mill
  • Colorful pepper from the mill
  • Flour
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Onion approx. 75 g
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 0,5 Red chilli pepper
  • 250 g Fresh mushrooms
  • 1 cups Crème fraîche 150 g
  • 250 g French fries frozen
  • 2 Stalk Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Place frozen french fries on a baking sheet with baking foil and bake in a preheated oven to 180 ° C for about 20 minutes until the french fries are a little crispy. Salt the french fries a little to serve. Wash the schnitzel, pat dry with kitchen paper, season with plenty of salt and pepper on both sides, turn in flour, knock off the excess flour well, fry in a pan with oil (3 tbsp) on both sides for about 10 minutes, turn several times, remove and keep warm. Peel and dice the onion. Peel the garlic clove and finely slice it. Clean / core the chilli pepper, cut lengthways into 3 strips and cut into fine rings. Clean / brush the mushrooms and cut into slices. Put butter (1 tbsp) in the frying pan and sauté / stir-fry the onion cubes with the garlic clove slices and chili pepper rings. Add the mushroom slices, sauté / stir-fry briefly and deglaze / pour the crème fraîche (1 cup 150 g). Rinse the crème fraîche beaker with a little water and add it to the pan. Season with coarse salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches). Let everything reduce / simmer for a few minutes. Serve the schnitzel with the mushroom sauce and the French fries, garnished with parsley.
