Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 80 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ⅛ liter milk
  • 1 egg white, for brushing
  • Flour , for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Then, roll out the dough on a layer of flour and cut out round buns using a glass. Brush with the beaten egg white. Preheat the oven to 210°C and bake the scones for 10-20 minutes until golden brown.
