Scottish Trifle
The perfect scottish trifle recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Fresh strawberries
- 1 pole Fresh rhubarb
- 200 g Whole grain biscuits
- 500 Milliliters Whipped cream
- 4 tablespoon Sugar
- 4 tablespoon Vanilla syrup
- 15 Centiliters Whiskey
- Chocolate sprinkles
- Clean and quarter the strawberries, cut the rhubarb stick into small pieces and mix with the strawberries. Add sugar and vanilla syrup, stir and marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- Meanwhile whip the cream with 7 cl whiskey until stiff. Crumble whole wheat biscuits. Spread the biscuit tubs in dessert glasses and drizzle 2 cl (or more) whiskey over them. Pour the strawberry-rhubarb mixture on top and top up with the whiskey cream. Decorate everything with a few chocolate bars and serve immediately.
