Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 5 g juniper berries
- 10 g peppercorns, black
- 4 cinnamon blossom(s), alternatively a small splinter of cinnamon bark
- 5 g long pepper
- 4 g coriander seeds
- 3 g nutmeg flowers (mace)
- 3 g all-spice
- 4 g fennel seeds
- 200 g fleur de sel
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
aromatic seasoning salt for steak, beef, game and all hearty dishes
Finely grind all the spices and mix with the salt. Tips: To ensure the flavors blend well, place the salt mixture in the oven at 130°C for about 10 minutes. You can grind the spices using either a mortar or, even better, a spice grinder. I use this highly aromatic salt for all dark meats that I would normally season with salt and pepper.
