Ingredients
 

semolina

  • 600 ml Milk
  • 120 g Wheat semolina

dough

  • 120 g Sugar
  • 120 g Margarine
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Egg yolk
  • 125 ml Buttermilk
  • 3 tbsp Food starch
  • 5 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tbsp Tartar baking powder

Covering

  • 1 Sour cherry glass

Instructions
 

  • Heat the milk and prepare the semolina according to the instructions. Let cool down.
  • Drain and drain sour cherries.
  • Beat the sugar and butter until frothy. Stir in the vanilla sugar, salt and one at a time the egg yolks.
  • Stir in the buttermilk and fold in the cornstarch, baking powder and flour, spoon by spoon.
  • Fold the slightly cooled semolina into the mixture.
  • Bake the cake at 160 ° C in the oven for about 60 minutes.
