Ingredients
semolina
- 600 ml Milk
- 120 g Wheat semolina
dough
- 120 g Sugar
- 120 g Margarine
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 Egg yolk
- 125 ml Buttermilk
- 3 tbsp Food starch
- 5 tbsp Flour
- 1 tbsp Tartar baking powder
Covering
- 1 Sour cherry glass
Instructions
- Heat the milk and prepare the semolina according to the instructions. Let cool down.
- Drain and drain sour cherries.
- Beat the sugar and butter until frothy. Stir in the vanilla sugar, salt and one at a time the egg yolks.
- Stir in the buttermilk and fold in the cornstarch, baking powder and flour, spoon by spoon.
- Fold the slightly cooled semolina into the mixture.
- Bake the cake at 160 ° C in the oven for about 60 minutes.
