Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 3 carrots
  • some chicken broth, instant
  • 1 sausage (beer sausage ball)
  • 5 liters of water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 package semolina (soft wheat semolina)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp water
  • semolina to thicken

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, grate the carrots into strips. Place the carrots in a large pot along with water and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Cut the beer sausage into cubes, fry the sausage briefly, and then add it to the soup. For the dumplings, take all of the listed ingredients and mix until a firm, chewy mixture forms. Then, using a small spoon, add the mixture to the soup in portions and let it simmer for about another 5 minutes. To make the soup a little thicker, you can slowly stir in some loose semolina.
