Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g pork goulash
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 1 bell pepper(s), diced
  • ½ cup peas
  • 1 ½ cup(s) rice (long grain rice)
  • 60 g mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 6 cups water
  • some margarine
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • optional spice(s) of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with pork goulash

Cut the goulash into slightly smaller pieces. Wash the leek and slice it into rings. Heat a little margarine and brown the meat. Add the rice, bell peppers, peas, mushrooms, leek, and water, and bring to a boil over high heat. Season with tomato paste and spices and simmer for about 20 minutes until the rice has absorbed the liquid.
