Serrano melon and mozzarella skewers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cantaloupe melon(s)
  • 80 g Serrano ham
  • 1 pack of mini mozzarella, 125 g
  • 12 basil leaves, fresh
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, lighter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 sprigs of thyme, fresh
  • 2 sprigs of oregano, fresh
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Deseed the melon and use a melon baller to cut out 12 balls. Drain the mozzarella balls and let them drain well. Cut the ham into strips and fold them together. Thread the mozzarella, basil, melon, and ham alternately onto wooden skewers. Wash the thyme and oregano, spin dry, and finely chop the leaves. Mix the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, thyme, and oregano into a vinaigrette and season with salt and pepper. Arrange the skewers on plates and drizzle with the vinaigrette.
