Sesame Dreams

The perfect sesame dreams recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Butter
  • 100 g Sesame seeds
  • 250 g Flour
  • 40 g Chocolate sprinkles
  • 120 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Melt the butter and let it cool down to hand warmth.
  1. Coarsely chop the sesame seeds in a mortar.
  1. Mix the butter, flour, about 30 g sesame seeds, chocolate sprinkles, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt to form a dough.
  1. Divide the dough into 3 parts and roll and pull through the egg white and roll in the sesame seeds.
  1. Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for a few hours, preferably overnight
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  1. Take the rolls out of the fridge and cut into slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Makes 2 sheets
  1. The sesame pieces are baked for 15 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack. The cookies can be kept for 4-6 weeks
