Sesame Dreams
The perfect sesame dreams recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Butter
- 100 g Sesame seeds
- 250 g Flour
- 40 g Chocolate sprinkles
- 120 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- Melt the butter and let it cool down to hand warmth.
- Coarsely chop the sesame seeds in a mortar.
- Mix the butter, flour, about 30 g sesame seeds, chocolate sprinkles, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt to form a dough.
- Divide the dough into 3 parts and roll and pull through the egg white and roll in the sesame seeds.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for a few hours, preferably overnight
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Take the rolls out of the fridge and cut into slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Makes 2 sheets
- The sesame pieces are baked for 15 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack. The cookies can be kept for 4-6 weeks
