Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g fish fillet(s) (pollock fillet, frozen)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some flour
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp herbs de Provence
  • 2 dashes lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Fish in crispy breading

First, crack the egg in a bowl. In another bowl, combine the sesame seeds, breadcrumbs, and Provençal herbs. Rinse the pollock under warm water and let it thaw. Then season both sides of the fish with lemon, salt, and pepper. Coat in a little flour, then dip in the egg and then coat in the sesame mixture. Fry the fillets in olive oil for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Serve with a green salad with olives and peppers or ratatouille.
