Sharon fruit wedges in prosciutto from the oven

Ingredients for 16 servings:

  • 2 Sharon fruits
  • 8 slices of ham (Italian prosciutto)
  • 16 small rosemary sprigs
  • some olive oil
  • black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Finger food

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat), line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel the Sharon fruit, remove the stems, and cut each fruit into eight wedges. Halve the prosciutto slices lengthwise and wrap them around the fruit wedges. Pierce the ham and fruit with a wooden skewer and insert a rosemary sprig through the resulting hole. Place the fruit wedges on the baking sheet, brush with oil, and roast in the oven for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with pepper and serve lukewarm.
