Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 2 kg pork schnitzel (preferably lobster)
  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 kg onion(s), cut into rings
  • 500 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • 2 cups of sweet cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Grease a deep ovenproof dish well. Then place the pork cutlets tightly together and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix the minced meat with two eggs, season (as always, but without the onions this time), and spread over the cutlets. Arrange the onion rings on top. Sprinkle everything with grated Gouda cheese. Finally, drizzle with two cups of sweet cream. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 1 1/2 hours (it may take a little longer depending on your oven). With three different salads, it’s perfectly sufficient for 10 people. I got this recipe from my wonderful mother-in-law. It’s a huge hit at her parties.
