  • 300 g Pork belly
  • 500 g Pork meat
  • 3 Red peppers
  • 3 Fresh onion
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Ground caraway
  • Thyme spice
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Curry

Prepare the skewers

  • First cut off the rind from the pork belly. Then cut the pork belly, onions, peppers and pork into pieces of the same size and push them alternately on the skewers. (E.g. preparation for 4 people = 8 skewers, each 20 cm long. We assume with the calculation that other things will also be grilled.)

Season and store in a cool place

  • Place the skewers in the grill pan. I only season them now when they are in the pan and only from above. Then brush a little with oil. (after turning it also season + brush). We put the cut rind from the bacon to the side in the pan (you can store these prepared skewers in a box in the refrigerator until the guests are there to grill. For this, the skewers can be put in with lemon wedges, the spices and oil for a longer period of time. This makes the meat very tender.)

Grill shish kebab skewers

  • Set the electric oven to 150 ° C, grilling + convection. After 10 minutes turn the skewers over + season so that the lower side is also grilled crispy.
