Shish Kebab Skewers with Tomato and Pepper Sauce

Shish kebab skewers
- 300 g Beef steak
- 300 g Pork steak
- 200 g Onion (small)
- 60 g Bacon (mixed, sliced)
- 1 Green paprika
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt
Tomato and pepper sauce
- 1 Vegetable onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 Chili
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 Can Tomato (peeled, weight 240 g)
- 1 bottle Tomato ketchup (150g)
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Curry (mild)
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- Salt
- Tabasco
- Worcester sauce
- Cut the meat into cubes of the same size. Also dice all other ingredients for the skewer and place them alternately on the skewers.
- For the sauce, cut the garlic, chilli and onions into small pieces, sauté in a saucepan with oil and deglaze with the canned tomatoes and the ketchup.
- Season to taste with oregano, paprika powder and curry and then round off the taste with Worcester sauce, salt and sugar. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
- Place the skewers in a roasting pan and pour the shashlik sauce over them. Cook in the preheated oven at 200 degrees, fan-assisted 180 degrees, gas mark 4 for about 1 hour.
