Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 500 g flour
  • 125 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Cake icing, for spreading
  • possibly hazelnuts, whole

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Knead all ingredients and chill for at least 2 hours. Using a meat grinder (with a cookie cutter attachment), pipe the desired shapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. For wreath-shaped cookies, place whole hazelnuts in the center, if desired. Bake for 10 minutes at 180°C until golden brown. Once cooled, glaze with icing, if desired.
