Shortcrust biscuits with icing and sprinkles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 dashes milk
  • 125 g powdered sugar
  • ½ tbsp lemon juice, orange juice or milk
  • possibly sweets (e.g. colorful sugar sprinkles)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

makes about 35 cookies

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Add the egg, butter, and milk and knead everything into a shortcrust pastry. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then roll it out and cut out any desired shapes. Bake at 180°C for 5-8 minutes. Mix a glaze from powdered sugar and lemon juice, for example, and glaze the cooled cookies with it. Decorate as desired.
