Shrimp, tomato and mushroom skewers à la Didi

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 15 prawns
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • 6 mushrooms from the can
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp, heaped herbs de Provence
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 6 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Wash the tomatoes and drain the mushrooms. Thread the tomatoes, mushrooms, and prawns onto three skewers in the following order: 1 prawn, then 1 tomato, then 1 prawn, 1 mushroom, then another prawn, 1 tomato, 1 prawn, 1 mushroom, and finish with a prawn. Season the skewers with pepper, salt, paprika, and Provençal herbs. Heat a tablespoon of sunflower oil in a pan and fry the skewers for about 1 minute on each side. Be careful, not longer, rather less, or the prawns will become tough! If you have a grill pan, you can use that. But it also works wonderfully on the grill.
