Side Dish: Mashed Potatoes and Fennel with Chicken Legs

The perfect side dish: mashed potatoes and fennel with chicken legs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 medium sized New potatoes
  • 1 handful Fennel green
  • 20 g Butter
  • 20 g Milk
  • Salt
  1. Peel, wash, quarter the potatoes and cook in salted water. Then drain and add the butter in small flakes.
  2. Mash the potatoes well, I don’t mix the potatoes as there is a risk that the pulp or mash will then become sticky. Now stir in the fennel greens, which have been washed, dried and cut beforehand. Serve with a serving ring.
